Hope

Don't rush to wash off the sea salt
drying on your skin;
the hopes it carries from other oceans,
those remain yet to be seen.

Two Wolves

Each of us have two wolves living inside us
One wants to eat burritos
and watch horror movies.

The other wants to walk about
in its underpants all day
snacking on cheetos between long naps.

The wolf that thrives is the one
who lives on with diabetes while the other
dies of a heart attack.

The Internet: Rtrn

Ding Dong the Wicked Witch Is Dead

Globally, miners jubilantly jump for joy
Smiles on the faces of every girl and boy
The grins of a newly opened Xmas toy
Thatcher’s dead.

Trade unionists bounce along the street
Music blaring and the tapping of feet
From nurses to Bobbies still on the beat
Thatcher’s dead.

Street parties announced in the nation
Satan who brought economic inflation
Is deceased, now’s the time for elation
Thatcher’s dead.

Its times like this I’m sad I’m an atheist
And can only shout and wave my fist
And then go to the pub and get pissed
Thatcher’s dead.

Walk

A bulging extremity,

a feminist integrity,

a swaggering centipede,

the cops arresting me,

my dick the right size,

the bang coming out of your eye's,

the sensitivity upon demise,

the dew and dripping from the sky's,

the eagerness of eloping,

the magnitude of doping,

the honesty of groping,

scattering scorpions glowing and scoping.

Beauty of nature
Why condense it down to God?
Isn’t life enough?

Smile

Sense of humour, elevating our spirits
Musing over the simple things in life, rejoicing at what we find
Imagination stimulated, childlike, seeing the wonders in life
Light heartedness, laughing at one’s self!
Everything as it is meant to be, smiling, enjoying, the gift of life

Three Atheistic Limericks

Three Atheist limericks
	for April Fools' Day 2006

Dear Mrs. Schiavo: Goodbye.

Dear Mrs. Schiavo: Goodbye.
Fifteen years was a long time to die.
   Your husband was brave
   To withstand the wave
Of inedible pie in the sky.

Why San Diegans remove Crosses from public Land

The SD City Council must hold strong:
Those mountaintop Christians are wrong.
   Crucifixion's the sign
   Of insensitive minds
Not the Native Americans' song.

Unrequited Faith

Dear Judeo-Christian God:
Your behavior's exceedingly odd.
   You let Hitler misbehave
   Then killed thousands with waves
And can't keep your priests' hands off kids' bods!

An Aquarian Exposition

Take the pill
on the hill
and don't be shrill
when you see the rainbow
when you are low.
Just go with the flow
and eat the purple snow.
Chase the rabbits
through the green field
but use my shield
to end all of your habits.

Inevitable Bear

Oh lonely Inevitable Bear,
Padding claws, death in white
Sorrow in recurring nightmare
Instinct’s test; fight or flight?

Camouflage against the fence,
A challenge; my subconscious fear
Ominous slowly moving silence,
“Let me in, there’s a bear out here!”

I

If its money I got its money ill keep. If its money I have its money ill weep. If its love that I give its love ill receive. For I am but no one who just see's beneath. Some say your only as strong as you feel, but how could we change..in a place that's so unreal. People are hearing but..not really hearing. Why is the world so blind. I keep on screaming and screaming and screaming for things to be revolutionized. I am just a small song in a world full of cries, laughter, tears and french-fries.

Empty Words

Did you hope I wouldn't notice you gave me empty words to drink?
well my tongues tasted more lies
than you would ever dare to think of.
You're not the only one with truth like poison in their veins.
whose ribs are shaped like cage
holding tightly to the pain
I knew even touched that wretched cup
pour a glass of words to cover what you hide
perhaps don't leave your secrets clinging tightly
to the side
but then again empty words.

Behind a Vegan Moon

No one likes dead lettuce
It must be crisp and cool
And dousing wounds with vinegar
Is certainly not cruel!

For Vegans can not see
Why lettuce choose to be
On a different frequency
Than Donald Trump might be

A salad will pass away
Shivering with cold today
Disgusted Vegans will say,
"I never heard lettuce pray"

Reiki Lover - Limerick

She was in search of spiritual transition,
And spent her time in lotus position.
A Reiki Master,
posing as a pastor,
Invited her to missionary position.

****

This limerick has been dedicated to a mischievous marriage wrecking Reiki Master. What power the Reiki Master yields - such that he need not even touch you, and yet you be touched!

Pages of the Book

On earth on a Mission
purpose redefined with singleness of vision
clarity came cause i sat to look
through the pages of the book

Some days skipped with nothing to dine
some nights slept with nothing to wine
yet more nourished than a royal cook
for i am best fed from the pages of the book

When I lost focus and fell
drowning in the depths of the well
yet I was lifted by an unseen hook
as i flipped through the pages of the book

What about you my dear friend
when the terrestrial race comes to an end
and death vomits all that it ever took
will your name be found on the pages of the book

Me

Jacqueline R.
Simple but Elegant
Daughter of my mother
Lover of Nature, colors Green and White
Who feels sad that the world is overpowered with darkness
Depressed that people are fighting
Happy that I'm different
Who would like to see all people in one faith, loving each other and have patience over all things
Reside in Daly City, California

Victorious Through the Saviour

We dare say that we have a victorious Saviour Who enables functionality in our behaviour… Let each one be a triumphant prayer warrior confessing that we are faithless,* in need of our courageous Superior!
*Matthew 17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation... July 18, 2018 edited on July 21, 2021

The Valiant Spirit

Behold, the Valiant Spirit! housed in a young vibrant body;
A litty like a titty;
Endowed with telepathy;
In this age of complexity.

I marvel at your smile that makes the day bright;
Your soft words that infuse strength;
And your words so refined.
Indeed, you're one of a kind.

Oh Valor!
Uphold thy honor
That those who seek for thy favor
May have a new experience to savor.

Folks, listen when he speaks.
Friends, feel the dimples on his cheeks;
For he smiles like a dove
And his heart like the blue sky above.

Dedicated to myself -Ejire Michael (Mikky-Prince)

An Atheist Speaks With God

An atheist died, and then his soul which he denied
went to another world, there to meet the Being
he had so very long ignored.

"Oh my God, you're real!" he exclaimed,
feeling his soul blush with shame.

"Oh yes, and so are you!"
God kindly exclaimed.

Satan's Patsy

You've been tricked
and you don't even know it
You got played
'cause you're dumber than a slow wit
Satan used you like a chump
on the ground your head got thumped
And you skidded and burned your rump
such a wicked fall when you got dumped
Now you're just an understudy corpse-to-be
buried in your role as Satan's patsy

Governance

LaoTse, of Taoist fame,
like other healthy politicians,
psychologists,
philosophers,
and poets,
was interested in the humor within spirit-nature's wisdom and folly,
as the wisdom uncovered
through nature-spirit's kind and unkind humors.
