Not Mine

I started my morning off with a stretch
Then off to the closet my clothing to fetch

I never noticed the dog in the dark
I stepped on his tail he started to bark

That woke my wife I think she is mad
If mom's not happy everyone's sad

Once she got up she woke up our son
He never gets up till the crack of one

Now here we sit the thee of us grumpy
Eating this porridge that's warm and lumpy

I look in my wallet for my lottery ticket
Check the numbers while I eat my bisquet

I know your thinking that maybe I won
Then this stupid poem would finally be done

Sorry you are wrong just one more line
I am so so happy this life isn't mine

Owl Whoo Whoo

Owl’s Whoo Whoo……

Do not ask me whoo is whoo.
I will tell you whoo whoo whoo!
Whoo can fly at night like me?
   I don’t know whoo, don’t ask whoo.
How can I see things at night?
I know how is, you know whoo?
I hate morning and its Sun,
I like moonlight from guess whoo?
What is there, has always been,
   Unseen, untold, I know whoo!
When you don’t know whoo is whoo,
Come at night, I’ll tell you whoo.
Whoo whoo is my sound at night
Can you sing like me whoo whoo?

One Race

The firmament above, beneath we exist,
This diversity in divine artistry
Same eyes divers sizes
Different skin same sin
Different color same honor
Same human same humor
Why try to sort out maize from corn? They are all same
Cus just one shot, your race wont spare you

Tech Time With Tim Collab

Do you have:
  a broken phone?
  faulty drone?
  apple with worms?
  broken windows?

Call for Tim
and in a whim

he delivers
tech support at its best
you drink
while he tests

He delivers
version 2.2
And all he asks
is that YOU
are happy when all
is brandnew!

Happy hour
drinks two for one
cheers for Tim
Repairs all but done

More tequila and gin!

Spenser

My name is Spenser
No dog is denser
I'm not well smarted
But I'm big hearted
If you was hurted
I'd be alerted
And I'll come racing
To lick your facing.

Casarah wants us to write happy That’s not an easy job My fickle muse has left me She’s turned into quite a snob She won’t let me write a poem that’s funny Not even a short limerick Now my world is dark not sunny I’m feeling a little bit sick So I’ve locked her in a cupboard She’s wailing and creating a fuss Her plans to gag me are scuppered I’ve just GOT to write humourous My capricious muse is locked away I can hear her starting to cry I’ll let her out one day That doesn’t end with a Y! Oh That Suzy

If Suzy sells sea shells at the sea shore
and has supposedly sold them for some time
after all these years,
Why hasn’t Suzy had the sense to save some coin
or secure herself a real job

So surely, you say, I should let Suzy be
to sell her damn sea shells all day by the sea
It’s silly but she’s simply squealing with glee
With sunshine and shells,
       she’s much smarter than me

Happy Couple

Why do we have pairs of scissors?
Since that's how they've always been known,
why do we care why we call them a pair
when one is no good on its own?
The same thing applies to our trousers,
just wearing the one would be daft,
just showing one knee, ugly veins you could see
and I don't think I'd cope with the draught.
The same thing applies to my spectacles,
another I couldn't let pass,
since one on its own as a monocle it's known
so why not just call it a glass?
I asked my good Lady's opinion,
she said 'oh, that's quite plain to see,
as a pair we get on, and the jobs all get done
but you'd be useless without me'.

Not a Long Poem

I'm making this brief
to spare you the grief
of having to scroll even once

You see by the title
that this here recital
ain't one of my long-winded stunts

It's not a long poem
there's no need to roam
all over the place for your fix

If rhythm's your need
you'll be happy indeed
that I tossed this one into the mix

Now I'm almost done
and I hope you had fun
with this humorous roadside attraction

So please hurry back
for a quick rhyming snack
and eat to your sweet satisfaction

Many Happy Returns

Tim asked Aunt Sheila, ‘How’s Melbourne today?
I hope you are having a nice Christmas Day,
I opened my present before the phone rang,
So thank you for sending me that boomerang.
But I hoped you’d send me a bat and a ball
And not some bent wood, I don’t want that at all!’

‘Well, just throw the damned thing away,’ she cried.

‘Believe me, Aunt Sheila… I really have tried!’

There Once Was a Known Lady of Vice

There once was a known lady of vice
Who charged for her moist pie by the slice

Down many a dollar
To taste the infamous Heidi Fleiss

My Happy Happy Mood

I cant explain the happy mood
Im feeling at this time
It makes me want to somersault
And twist and twist around

I feel as if i might just fly
Feeling really light
I can't explain the happy mood
Im feeling at this time

But i hope that after reading this
You'll smile all the time...

Ding Dong the Wicked Witch Is Dead

Globally, miners jubilantly jump for joy
Smiles on the faces of every girl and boy
The grins of a newly opened Xmas toy
Thatcher’s dead.

Trade unionists bounce along the street
Music blaring and the tapping of feet
From nurses to Bobbies still on the beat
Thatcher’s dead.

Street parties announced in the nation
Satan who brought economic inflation
Is deceased, now’s the time for elation
Thatcher’s dead.

Its times like this I’m sad I’m an atheist
And can only shout and wave my fist
And then go to the pub and get pissed
Thatcher’s dead.

Rainbow

imagine the rainbow being
the dark tunnel
you've been stuck in for years

the lighthouse on the horizon,
the beam
that gets brighter as it nears

get soaked in the rain,
feel the sun in your heart,
let go of all your fears.

Cookies

Cookies are addictive!
OoOoH! Here's one to snatch!
Okay...where's the chocolate chips?
Kraving too many of these treats
I want some now! But...I might get beeefy...
Every bite is mouthwatering, soft and crisp
Should I take another cookie?

Rip Curfew

Thank you for being in my life,
to think you were only broken twice,
you taught me how not to be late,
and how to get my timing straight,
my mother made you and loved you too,
she stayed up at night to make sure you show true,
I'm not going to say I'm happy you're gone
but i do rue the day you were spawn
now that I'm 18, you've done your job,
I'm happy you will no longer make my heart throb,
with every minute that i am late,
made my life full of hate,
so thank you curfew, and thanks a lot,
now my own schedule will take your spot.
