Old Friends

The Ghost denied
he was a Ghost,

though clearly
I saw through --

Someone I knew
in life, back then
quite pink, substantial
with lots
and lots to do –

tried and tried
convincing him
all to no avail,
myself even now
more pale

till recognized he

dear friend, himself

who had

read my eulogy….

The Little Ghost

There once was a sad little Ghost,
teased for his fright-less boo --
unable to scare anyone, in fact,
attracting many a bull
(sounded like an amorous moo)

Oh, that poor little ghost! -- his white sheet always blue;
Maytag man suggested bleach: agitated back and forth~
Screech! Screech! Screech!…

(The saga of the Sad Little Ghost. Add to the saga in your comment: for example, the boo to the owl sounded like hoo...so he showed up with his Plagiarism lawyer~ etc.... The Witch heard the call as brew, or stew, so she got off her broom to prepare more gloom....)

Midnight Romance

How bright your eyes of cerulean blue
Look out from your porcelain face my dear
I saw those ivory teeth and I knew
That crimson blood would be flowing right here

Your cloak matches your obsidian brows
Absinthe is the green the grass we lie on
Love burning like charcoal as we carouse
Making our love last way before the dawn

Your sable hair reminds me of honey
And I crush my lips to yours oh so soft
I know that this is better than money
But do you agree? I noticed you coughed

Ash of roses the color I evoke
Before leaving you in a puff of smoke

wandering knight

once a knight named galahad

prayed for an olympiad

walking into a church

the people besmirched

now he is a nom-y-ad.

Gothic Art

I have always been drawn to Gothic art

It doesn't mean that I play the part,

The art to me is dark and has fantasy all in one

Like Anime art that is really fun,

I guess we all have that dark side that is not revealed

But, trust me my love for Gothic art is for real,

It's a cool world all on it's own

And that fact that I did a page where my love for goth art is being shown.

Witches, Time To Go

The clock with no hands Will appear on everyone’s walls Time, it took to find you When the midnight hour approaches Do not run For I have found you So, don’t run no more Come closer I await to meet you At your hour So, don’t go far Time is a ticking

Miserable

There are times some mat be some what miserable

To me my life isn't bad enough to say it is terrible,

I am happy and blessed with my whole world

Those whom are not happy always live in turmoil,

Misery loves company they always say

yes it is sad that others do feel this way,

My heart goes out to those but, they have to be the ones wanting to change

The negativity they have in their souls needs to be rearranged.

Deep In the Basement

Deep in the basement of the east wing
Lady Penelope keeps a Thing
    With big teeth and claws
    And horrible jaws
And feeds it her husband’s old flings.

While sister Edith keeps under covers
A creature that crawls and gibbers and mutters,
    That’s disgusting and spiny,
    Appalling and slimy,
And feeds it her old boyfriends and lovers.

Fun Haiku

Short fun haiku

God didn`t like snakes
So he told lies about me
Man loath and fears me

I`m a crippled tree
In the middle of a wheat field
Doing nothing

I`m the big rock
The farmer ploughs around me
One day he bitterly says.

It was the tallest tree
In the petrified forest
Lightning struck in half

I`m the smallest tree
In the woods of trepidation
I starve to stunt growth

At the restaurant
I`m the last the waiters see
Serving stops at three

The Circle

(Limerick}

The Circle of witches all heard a loud knock
"Come in!" Said a voice behind a big rock
But it wasn't "the Raven"
And sure wasn't a Haven
So all run out just wearin' socks and no frock!

Cousin Eustace Makes Such a Horrible Sight

Cousin Eustace makes such a horrible sight
When he walks down the second-floor halls every night.
“He’s been up there for years,”
  Said Aunt Agatha in tears,
“And it's such a bother when guests die from the fright.”

Guth Is a God

In Ancient days names had definition
The Carpenters were of course Carpenters
Some names brought recognition

Jesus had many names, I know them well
Some called him the Son of God
But his mother used Emmanuel

Joseph Guth, My Father’s name
Not just German for Good, which was my claim

The Irish, the Germans use a word
Guth is for god, rather absurd

A royal noble name
I walk with each day
Just like you
Feet of clay

A god I am
What does that mean
I am not divine
And certainly not lean

Marvellous Life

Marvellous Life
Back then it is back then- so bloody long ago-
my heart sang when going home after seeing you
I crossed a bridge, and the water hummed a love
song and there was no troll under it being
sarcastic telling me love will not last how wrong
the troll was, love is the earth I walk upon it is
the olive tree, the sun and rain that fall it is a part
of what is beautiful in your heart and that you could
not take away the day you left. You made me free to
love the magnificence of reality and charity knowing
my life is wat it is supposed to be today.

Metaphysics In Winter

Woman is a landscape
Soft and silent next to me;
Her hills and valleys,
Her forest and knoll.

Dawn stirs.
Time will
Fashion dark into gold,
Along a silent thread transmit
Its chemical metamorphosis.

No One Is Looking

Cadence lowers its tenebrous tempo
Dulcet to a morose Memento Mori-bund
Lachrymose ribbon garnet fountain
Ruby rivulets in wine glass Chardonnay
Bubble floats to pop
Silence yet I sway

Miasma tang vitae oh Nueva
So they swing on a rope seputchra
Momma Mia mommy
Bites her lips
Somersault flips
Debauchery

In my hidden boutique adornment boudoir
My basement locked ossuary

Splinters

The splinters of our marrow comes,
Shivering thunder for a lengthy spray-
Warmth beautifies our essence;
Glittering ray sends goose down spines!
She comes, nostalgia drums
The lily-borne sepulchre; its beauty I ponder
Goozy feelings; my road alone
This journey be tiresome
For I be so glad to take it
Come forth hither, the beauty of our land!
Hollow tremble, belly grumble
For its angels are generous in vision,
A journey, I delight thee.

Happy V-Day Mofo , Electropopdance-Poppop-Trapnu-Goth Pop

you got my hart
and its twisted and raw
guess what?
I, wrapped it in
some bloody SPONGE GAUZE

only to serve it to
my favorite god

so stop dragging it
through the mud

do you know how
much i don't
love you

right now!

I'm going to kill you
with my love

(hook three times )
I'm going
I'm going
love you

(hook two times)
beat it up
knock it out
I'm going to
i'm going to
drag it around

(hook one time)
I'm going to
i'm going to
love you to death

(hook said in whispers - many times and one time loud)
even if it kills
you

Happy Valentine's Day MOFO

The Conqueror Worm

Of course, all straights are bent
our rotary motion

the further back we travel in
space, the greater the arc
apparent

even our words are subject to gravity

inclined toward earth, absorbed
long before eternity

some mine for jewels
I uncover the promises kept
and unkept...lies and truths
compacted to indistinguishable
masses – buried

with the bones of those who spoke them
absent lips and breaths

but a disgruntled grave digger I am not

just an insatiable book-worm

regurgitating my volume of Poe
