Handle me with care

Look out the window
And enjoy the eastern glow
Now get out of bed
Feet on a cold floor
In the middle of winter
Now get back in bed

Good Morning
Good morning ladies and gentleman; this is KVY in Cinncinatti
Has anyone out there seen a bloody red Spaghettini?
Does anyone out there even know what it is?
Well, guess what, I don't know what it is also!
Must have been seeing double, double
Cause I had drank three double, double of rummies!!

dog, funny, good morning, morning, muse, pollution,
Wisping kitchen sunlight
through dust and wood smoke.
Golden hairs from her body
from a shake as she woke.
Rising up gently
slowly down as they float.
And brushing my oatmeal
with a fresh yellow coat.

THE MEDITATOR
Oh what joy it seems to me
Drinking an early morning tea.
While watching the sun rise across the Bay
Changing night into day.
My Maltese, lies stretched across my knees
Knows he's not here to play but me to please,
But, my time to meditate just went sour
Oh God – What is the hour?
Not time to mediate
Just to contemplate.
Mistakes I've made and things I dread
How fast can I get back to bed?
One last thing so you don't get bit.
NOLI TANGERE CANEM MEAN. MORDIt !
It is what I wrote on his tag
So disregard those speedy wags.
Hope I spelled that right.
It means: "DON'T PAT MY DOG, HE BITES !"

Low in sugar, salt and fat
Source of protein
I’m glad of that
High in fibre
Vitamins and iron
It’s on this box
That I’m desiring
Building strength for my body
Healthy eating I like mine soggy
Creating energy for you and me
I like a bowl with a cup of tea
Mix with fruit if you like
These Weetabix are a sure delight
Whole grain wheat is what there made from
Three or four will make me so strong
Have you had your Weetabix today!!

fun, funny, giggle, good morning, humor, humorous, morning,
It was a good morning until…
I lost a hundred-dollar bill.
I cried “Oh no!
Why is this so?”
It was a good morning until…
the mail brought a bill for a mil.
My tears did flow.
I cried with woe.
It was a good morning until…
I wrote a bad check for the bill.
To jail I go.
It’s sad, I know.

Good morning friends and loved ones
Both near and far away.
The good Lord has allowed me
To live another day.
The big storm that was forecast
Did not arrive it seems.
I slept without a worry
And welcomed pleasant dreams.
Oh no, I am not lonely
Since my kitty came to stay.
His youthful exuberance
Brings brightness to my day.
With cell phone and with email
I’m allowed to stay alone,
As long as I remember
To report by mail or phone.
Good morning, darling daughters.
Your mother’s checking in,
Just as the doctor ordered,
To tell you how I’ve been.

humor,
It was a good morning until
kids outside threw big rocks into
our room, leaving glass neath the sill.
What hullaballoo we went through!
Auntie Em passed out with a yell.
Our uncle, who stood near his wife,
with his crutches - to the floor fell.
My cousin screamed, "Run for your life!"
He thought he was back in Iraq,
for PST syndrome he had.
Poor Grandpa he tried to attack.
I swear I saw blood. It was BAD!

Santa Hits The Snooze Button
(For Christmas Cheer contest)
Santa woke up feeling fruity
The Mrs was spark out
He grinned cos in a minute
His Rudolph clock would shout
Whinny, whinny, moo, quack
Whinny, whinny, neigh
(How’s a poet sposed to know
What Reindeer clocks might say)
Even though his wife nowadays
Is lamb dressed up as mutton
He sees her how she used to be
So wallops that snooze button
So Santa’s got ten minutes
For undercover fun
Please excuse the metaphor...
He’s got a loaded gun
We’ve got a spare ten minutes
Come take your man to heaven
Well what we gonna do she said
With the other seven

Dreamworld's kite
Morning light
Open eyes, OH what a sight !
Brown Recluse delight
On my hand, next to nose, face turned white !
Big brown spider clinging tight
Jump from bed with all might
Primal life or death fight
Heart pounding flight
Rude awakening fright
Lucky no bite
Spiders crawling on me while asleep not right !

funny, good morning, humor, morning,
The morn is new, yet it feels old,
Seeing the dew glistening in the cold.
Comfort and warmth are things of the past,
For, despite desires, the night will not last.
A groggy shuffle, a bleary eye,
Whoever took the last cup of coffee now must die.

GOOD MORNING MISTER WALKA
Good morning Mister WALKA
I come to see your DAUGHTA,
I hope it's not ah BOTHA,
Cause all I really wanted was a cold glass of WATA
And so, if it is not such ah BOTHA, Mister WALKA
I'd love to give her a QUARTA,
If she would give me a cold glass of WATA.
So, what do you say Mister WALKA? can I see your DAUGHTA, right away
Before LATA, if you may. And if it is not such ah BOTHA.
By the way, are you sure, you are her FATHA, and not her BROTHA? For you sure act like her MOTHA. Oh shoot! MR. WALKA, why did I even BOTHA with you,
When I could have gone to AH-NOTHA.

dream, drink, food, good morning, humor,
I awoke in a fright
From my sleep last night
It must have been a bad dream
Could we possibly be out of coffee cream
Oh no, say it ain't so
But it appears as though
My wife went to Walmart
and had a big brain fart
Please rectify this my dear
I want coffee creamer, not beer
My coffee is bad
without adding a tad
Please bring creamer for the refrigerator
and I will see you a bit later
Drive safely my dear
and don't hit a deer in the rear.

Jumpstart
It’s 6f:00 am,
Time to Wake up once again,
It’s too early,
Time to Wake up for work,
Got to get
Out of bed again and again,
And to get
The day started once more,
Nicotine, Caffeine,
More Nicotine and More Caffeine,
To get my body
The jumpstart It does need,
Need to Wake up,
Must be Ready Wake up and Go,
Not Ready
To wake up and get going yet,
Not Ready for
The day, hopefully It is for me,
Nicotine, Caffeine,
More Nicotine and More Caffeine.

12th grade, funny love, good morning,
Morning grows over the water,
Sending shivers to my lover!
Have to get up and go their way,
All night they have stayed.
Never wished them to go away,
Such a nice way to start the day!
Again night will fall,
Finding my lover in the hall.
"Share the pillow,
Don't go away!"

He seems to be new and I so cool
Walk over to introduce myself
I notice a clue his polished shoes
And the badges shiny on his belt
It seems my desk was a mess
As the man had searched high and low
I'm Bob he says with the IRS
Your company's assets will be froze
In fact lady come with me
There are questions for you and news
Today was a good day indeed
For the audited IRS blues.

good morning, humorous, voyage,
Live on a Lark
I learned how to live on a lark
And then did decide to disembark
On a voyage which invariably
Would be just right for you and me.
Laughed and smiled everywhere we went
And as soon as all our money was spent
Upon the sea grew a great big hale
Your and my face started turning pale.
Each formed wave was finally flat
And I started to think off the bat
With her then had to be quite blunt,
To go again we would never want.
