Long in the tooth they left this life.

There was a grade-school dropout named Truperter
Whose neighbors in his town said couldn’t be stupidter.
He said the earth was flat,
Dinosaurs were due back.
And he swore Donald Trump has a condo on Jupiter.

Whisky, beer, vodka he had sipped on

humorous, travel, vacation,
Something like this could only ever happen to me
I’ve boarded a plane and flown to the wrong country
Alitalia decided to strike while we were in mid air
That was the end of my first love affair
Here in Albania things don’t look great
I was always slim but here I've lost weight
Managed to get out of this terrible place
You should see the colors of the spots on my face
I start my vacation at long last
I fall in a pot hole and end up in a cast
The Italians love me so
They’ve stolen my passport and I have nowhere to go.

humor,
So many topics, so little time
Must write as fast as I can
Never know how much time I have left
To complete the mission at hand
To spread my humour every single day
To every part of the world
Silly as it seems we all need humour
To help us through undeterred
My mission in life has forever been
To spread giggles far and wide
Helping us forget all the nastiness we see
Hearing how many have died
So many topics, so little time
Must write as fast as I can
Attempt to add humour every damn day
Before even humour get banned

education, humorous, perspective, philosophy, political, wisdom, world,
Far wiser than philosophers
are writings penned by our
ambassadors of Laugh ~ our men
and women esteemed for
Comical Gaff – Let's float our
politicians such raft; let's give our
academics such draft: far less feces
would enrich every thesis....
I've been helped more by humor
than any aspirin or vitamin, best
when the three are combined –
I've been filled more by feast,
then the words of a priest, for hunger
a potent distraction –
I have learned more from my wife
than an entire library....never quiet
enough for me to read.

Winter - the only way, as far as I know,
To dazzle a woman on your own taste.
I mean- dazzle a woman from snow,
With any breasts, with any waist!

abuse, africa, change, confusion, freedom, humor,
a step too far
breaking news
on my TV
I was surprise to see
my president again
as he utter his speech
I was interested and happy
to listen
I was full of hopes
not until my right was
seen as a step too far
what a shame
what a word
what a president
after 3months
away from the country
this was his message
but am sorry
my right is my right
our right is our right
the country is a mess
our economy is falling
speedily down
the people are disunity
as much as we claim united
our business are in closed
our wages are zero
and when we fight for
freedom
oh God I get confused
our President
say is
a step too far!

As Far as I Can Throw Ya!
I don’t trust ya
Used to, but not now
How, how can I?
My kindness you’ve taken for weakness
For granted is how you took my meekness
I don’t trust ya
Used to, but…How? Now? Why?
I can’t lie… I just don’t
You screw my emotions like a rapist overdosing on Viagra
I know sooner or later, I will no longer want to have ya
I’m exhausted… emotionally drained
Never thought you were so into playing head games
Truly, I will never be the same
Why? Cause I don’t trust ya
Used to, but now I don’t… I won’t… I can’t
As far as I can throw ya, I can trust ya
And I can’t throw ya at all

funny, lost love, love,
Not out of sight,
but far away
like a fresh peach
rosey on the top
branch of a tree,
he was too far
for me to reach.
Some other woman,
a better climber,
might pick and eat
that distant fruit,
or a bird perhaps,
or maybe he’ll dry up
and wither on the vine.

I'm here all alone

I'll trade it all
for a horse and carriage!

games, home, humor,
T'was a man named Dizzy from Lafayette,
but sometimes his way home he would forget.
So he carried in his coat pocket,
a deck of cards and a lucky locket.
When he found himself lost and all alone,
he would just play Solitaire to get back home.
It has never failed, Dizzy's fool-proof plan,
start playing, someone shows up to give you a hand.

Locating door D-75
Of a large colony on a drive,
At last close, ah D-74!
I must be right at destiny’s door.
But the next turns out B-68!!
What, lost at the very Pearly Gate?
So I felt midway through my poem—
Roots in air, hangs down to earth tree’s stem!
Old wisdom, the time turns when adverse,
I recalled oft-quoted holy verse
From Bhagavad-Gita’s holiest text
Talking of Tree of Life, but what next?
At wits’ end and left with not a clue,
You hope some divine help might rescue.

That Is Not My Elephant! Mine Is Far More Elegant!
By Rick Rucker
That is not my elephant!
Mine is far more elegant!
Instead of being owned by Asian traders,
It looks as if it were decorated by 2nd graders!
And why would they name it Ella?
Examination reveals, it is a fella!
It is so skinny, its legs look like spaghetti
It should be round, like Anna Maria Alberghetti!
There should be a Bill of Rights,
To keep us from seeing such sights!
I would never let
Mine, in this condition, get!

To swing from a tree on elastic.

Thus leaving him trapped
