butterfly, funny love,
Butterflies have the quietest wings
Defying the weight of their flutterings
Your red face has shown
What you did not want known
Your fight to keep them from escaping

2nd grade, butterfly, change, humorous, imagery, insect,
I watched a little caterpillar
walking up a tree
and wondered how
that worm would look
if he were dressed like me.
I think his mother would complain
if she had shoes to buy,
cause by the time she tied them all
he’d be a butterfly!

Your love pricks me like a rose each thorn grows but no one knows Your so full of
it as it shows so carry on now go on, go. I'm fed up with the phony and i'm
through with the tears, you couldn't pay me all your money to make up for those
years. Someone help me I feel faint how could I think he was such a saint and
worst of all I let me fall into a spiral down below. A magic called love carried
by the dove of someone I use to know.

Kid's Poetry Contest
What Makes for a Funny Kid
It’s not just the smile that I enjoy
As he plays with his favorite toy
I watch him try to spin a top
Ice cream to the floor goes plop
He piles so much into his day
So much to do, hooray, hooray
He’s funny when he plays outside
Chases butterflies on the glide
The funniest thing for me to see
He tries to climb up in a tree
Rolling down a hill is fun
No rain today thanks to the sun
At the end of each and every day
Outside is where he wants to stay
Mom calls him in with a ringing bell
Read him a story he’ll sleep quite well

If its money I got its money ill keep.
If its money I have its money ill weep.
If its love that I give its love ill receive.
For I am but no one who just see's beneath.
Some say your only as strong as you feel, but how could we change..in a place that's so unreal. People are hearing but..not really hearing. Why is the world so blind. I keep on screaming and screaming and screaming for things to be revolutionized. I am just a small song in a world full of cries, laughter, tears and french-fries.

Twinkling little elephant toes
Prancing through the Garden Of Woes,
Sniffing daisies
With his long dainty nose.
"Good morning to you",
says a cute butterfly.
With cheeks glowing pink
The mammoth creature whispers, "Hi".
Turning from pink
To bright crimson red,
He bats his lashes
And hides his head.
As the butterfly turns
And flutters away,
The prancing little elephant
Continues to play.
I realize then
That it's time for bed.
Cuz, the dancing pink elephant
Is all in my head!

Anacreontic Verse
Busy buzzing bees
and beautiful
butterflies
sip nectar
from pretty flowers
in my garden.
Colourful pansies,
scented sweet peas,
pink begonias
and red carnations
brighten the borders.
I sit in the sun
enjoying the warmth
and beauty
that surrounds me.
Summertime -
I just adore
this season
of the year
albeit only
for the few
warm sunny
rain free days
that we get
on my tiny isle
in the UK!

There once was a fellow named Bert
Who had always been considered a jerk
Till one day he passed by
With this gorgeous butterfly
Couldn't miss Bert's dirty big smirk

butterfly, humorous,
Don’t plant cabbages near your buddleia bush
Not unless you want cabbages turned into mush
The butterflies love buddleia but they love cabbages too
And the baby caterpillars won’t want to share them with you
So take my advice and plant cabbages well away
Then you will have some leaves for your dinner today

butterfly, humor,
A kaleidoscope of butterflies
passed right before my dilated eyes,
so while the colors blurred by
grabbing at them I did try...
fast little buggers to my surprise!

The Stranger
I sit beside a handsome guy.
I imagine his breath on my neck.
He is tall.
His brown eyes are nice and,
O he has such gorgeous brown skin,
dark hair and a deep tan.
I want to kiss him on the lips.
I gesture towards him.
He moves a few inches and gets up.
Then leaves….
I realize I don’t know his name.

caregiving, cute love, emotions, fantasy, first love, funny love,
I stay far away from my lady,
Is there anything that can make my day?
Suddenly something came into my mind,
Might be the best way I can use it's wind;
Actually I am desperate to meet her,
But how come? It's not easier,
I have to find out a way,
Might be a butterfly can't do betray.
Finally, I have sent a butterfly as my agent,
I request him, Don't be arrogant,
Stay calm and quiet there,
Keep watching my lady, don't show aspire.
Now it's become her permanent room member
From a distance it's kept watching her.
Wish it will not be disappeared,
If it's so then I will be disappointed.

butterfly, flower, funny,
Spring is here so you know what that means, flowers and butterfly's and trees turning green, but it's not all good it's allergies season, snakes come out and bees start stinging, tornadoes run amok in tornado alley, it gets hotter then a white man at a Trump support rally, your skin starts to burn from being in the sun, the rain is cool and all but down here we rarely get some, but back to flowers those beautiful things, they come in different colors and are abundant in spring, now imagine a kid catching a butterfly on his finger, then smashing it cause kids these days are a little bit meaner.

butterfly, dance, flower, garden, humor, music, song,
My garden comes alive at night,
many flowers do not bloom by day.
In the middle of the night,
my garden is in full swing.
The Blue Bells are swaying,
ringing their bells to the beat.
The big full white moon,
starts out singing a lullaby.
Butterflies are coming to this musical party,
they are dressed in their finest colorful wings.
In the middle of the night,
when I am fast a sleep.
The beautiful butterflies dance from flower to flower,
dancing as the big full white moon is singing along.

animals, children, funny, nature, light, butterfly, light,
Oh my!
How high
Can a butterfly fly?
It can fly
Very high
In the sky.
And, who knows?
I suppose,
If a butterfly chose,
It could light on a daisy--
It could light on a rose.
And, if you stand very still,
It could even light
On the freckles of your nose.

butterfly, funny,
How did I arrive
In this glass menagerie?
Why look at all those peoples' eyes
Just staring in at me
Not one of them to say
"let's just unscrew the lid"
and let me out to fly-
oh wait! That one just d i d

Heavy hearted holes open doors, then close em shut
While everyones waiting on a helping hand or a bastards crutch
Silly I feel useless watching clouds in broken shapes
Damn it if we land it completely captivated by birthday cake
I'll sail away
under baby blue skies and mankind's caution tape
Here maybe now or after all is well
The head is fearing
Insists that freedoms
breathin is a white lie
On and on til the rooster sighs
Does anybody try
Or am I just high

Softly floating flitterbye
you care not where you go
such proud beauty is butterfly
drifting where breezes blow
showing off the butterfly flutters by
her wings bright flags of black and gold
truly is she the monarch of the sky
but i don't envy her if the truth is told
surely swiftly the webbing spins
meticulously built just so
a fine net made to trap beauty in
as any hungry spider will show

Garments
Opened the wardroom’s door, suits and jackets worn
so long looked like sad copies of me.
Gave all my clothes to the salvation army, which gave
them to people not unlike me.
Too much textile is a heavy burden one becomes and
snug in old suits losing interest in adventures.
I bought a pair of jeans and a matching jacket, walked out
at dawn’s first light, began looking for a horse, failing that
a mule to transport me when I traverse the landscape
of imagining, I’m a cowboy lassoing dreams.
