birthday, humorous,
The fire brigade are on standby
With their hoses in their hand
For today it is my birthday
My birthday cake is on a stand
There are so many candles
It is a health and safety risk
So be ready with the hoses guys
And make sure you get here quick!

A most charming poet named Dan
Writes poems whenever he can
He is sixty today
So I’m writing to say
Happy birthday from your friend Jan
xxxxxxx
An unfortunate poet named Daniel
His huge ears made him look like a spaniel
They dangled down so low
Past his knees to his toe
The plastic surgeon re-wrote the manual!
The surgeon who was in charge
He had never seen ears so large
With a nip and a tuck
Daniel was in good luck
Dashing home to show his wife Marge

birthday, humorous,
There’s a rumor going ‘round it’s my birthday today;
they say that I’m seventy years old..…no way.
too many candles to light,
it would take into the night.
When did I suddenly turn old and grey.
Some say I’m an old man and not too smart,
but I say don’t put the horse behind the cart;
‘cause age is just a number
not something to encumber,
and this old man is still young at heart.

The indelible stamp
of my favorite aunt
my birthday gift arrived
seven months late
Yet unwrapping the newspaper
was well worth the wait
Though the fruit cake was moldy ~
The ‘London Times' was first-rate

There was a woman who had a birthday
No age would she ever give away
Everyday she ate bran
Now regular on the can
A strong odor she did display.

birthday, celebration, friendship, fun, humorous, march,
The candles are aglow on your birthday cake,
Where a wish awaits for only you to make,
A cascade of confetti thrown by many a friend,
Balloons and flowers, gifts and parties without end,
A year filled with new smiles and never a tear,
And with many heartfelt words of good cheer,
Like those I have written right here on the page,
A Happy Birthday to you, no matter what your age!
I wrote this for Linda's (Poet Destroyer's) birthday,
but I thought it was appropriate to repost this,
since today is my birthday!
It is always nice to share this special day with friends.
And, I consider all of you to be mine! :)

Leap year babes party every fourth year
When their birthday arrives they can cheer
But on a positive note
It would surely get MY vote
Getting old is something they won’t fear!

fun, funny,
For your birthday I made you a cake,
which took quite a long time to bake,
but to send it your way,
I used a trebuchet,
and now it's all over the lake.

In the many long years since your birth
You've made twenty eight laps with the earth
In that time you've taken
Your fair share of bacon
And thus greatly increased in your girth

Happy Birthday To Me
I'm Old As Can Be
I Am Forgetful
And Lost My Memory
I Need Glasses To See
My Eyesight Will Flee
My Ears Constantly
Need Help To Hear Thee
To Bed I Will Be
My Dreams Are Set Free
I Soon Will Be Snoring
A Whole Lot Of ZZZZZZ's

,
In no fewer words can I explain
the aura of lithe this lady contain
from witty banter to affectionate touch
her gracious presence only missing a blush
True, it's been a while since we were ourselves
but at least it gave me time to reflect on you
in anxious times when you calmed our nerves
and the nightly chats, those I treasure too
Though it seems I tender not a hearty soul
and times I keep much more than I show
within these words I wish you will find
how highly a friend I esteem you in mind
Till I find others so true
all my nights shall be dreams of you ,

birthday, crazy, giggle, happy birthday, hilarious, humor, humorous,
In front of your door
I paced,
Stooped down and retied
My shoelace,
13- the number
That was glazed,
Rung your doorbell since your keys
Had been replaced.
Once the door opens
In a haste,
And you'll stare at it
In amaze,
With a motive of
A nutcase,
I'll smash a birthday cake
Right in your face.

humorous,
After a morning jog about a mile,
I dressed for my birthday in a grand style;
Danced around a big white cake
Like a white duck in a lake,
Fondling my white puppy with a broad smile.

age, birthday, celebration, funny,
About fifty
Rhymes with nifty
Going on sixty
Same day today
As tomorrow hooray!
Fifty is ten past forty
Age is but a number and counting time tends to bore me
I'm like a puppy that's all dirty
A kid son, I'm barely over thirty
As for the big five-0
Be proud of all that you may now know
Farewell my elder
Mad respect, for sure
And
Congratulations for being
About fifty

birthday, humorous, relationship,
Poor Paddy's wife thinks he is cruel
Because of his strict leap year rule
No leap year - there’s no gift
It's caused many a rift
But Paddy says he is no fool!
His wife gets no gifts for three years
She’s fed up and bursts into tears
With a decree nisi
She could date a kind guy
But this request falls on deaf ears!
Their daughter says buy mum some lunch
Or flowers in a pretty bunch
Paddy thinks on his feet
And buys her a ‘treat'...
A packet of cheap monster munch!

Was kept by Jimmy oh so near,

(Free Poop Testing When You Fill Fifty Years)
I've heard a lot
but this was a new
You are taken with the pants down
Fifty years of poop ...
Purple in the face of pressure
Call your doctor or a plumber
A homework ... "do it yourself "
not in the presence of another person
Good luck ...
Happy Birthday "White Wolf"
